Jon and I both missed Evan VERY much during the month that we were away from each other. So we were more than excited to take some little mini vacations when we got back during Jon's time off. We went to the zoo to see the new Russia's Grizzly Coast exhibit, we went to the Children's Museum where Evan loves to play and explore, we went for a long walk in the Arboretum, and we hung out together around the house. We're very glad to be back together and settling back into life as usual again. Evan grew so much while he was at his grandma and grandpa's house. He got two new teeth, he learned how to "shoot" deer and birds (he sees them and says "boom!"...thanks, Dad!), his vocabulary nearly doubled, and he's much more verbal! It's so much fun to see how quickly he is growing and learning new things. We are truly blessed to have him be a part of our lives! Oh...and he also gives Baby kisses by kissing Mommy's belly. It's really cute! We pray every day that he will be a caring, loving, fun big brother for his little brother or sister.
