Yesterday Jon and I just marveled in how much Evan is learning every day. Evan had quite a big moment when we were walking to our car, he looked up in the sky, pointed, and said, "airplane!" So, it was really a helicopter, but even I couldn't tell that at first... :) He is growing so much every day it is simply amazing!
He has also more actively been searching out and asking for the "kitties" and moose. It's fun to watch Evan chase them all...a sweet little dose of their own medicine. :)
We have had quite a busy week at church. Our church is currently interviewing three candidates for the associate pastor position at Cross View. We desperately need a strong, bold man of God at this church. We met one candidate on Tuesday, we're meeting another one tonight, and another one next week. This weekend is Confirmation, so last night we were at church for pictures and practice. We also have confirmation parties on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. It's been one of those weeks where we feel like we live at church.
We are very much looking forward to next weekend when Phil, Bethany, and Lily will be coming for a visit and some trips into the city for a Twins game and a visit to the Children's Museum. Woo hoo! :)
