Yesterday we played outside for the first time since early November. God, the sunshine sure does feel good! Thank you!! Today's predicted high is 58...that's close to 60! I thought it would be June before we saw temperatures like this! :) Tonight, we grill! :) Well, it is truly amazing what a little sun and warmth will do for the soul...
Evan is enjoying exploring the outdoors--yesterday we even took a walk around Lake Benton (less than 1/2 mile away from our house). It was truly beautiful! :) He's been developing so much in these last couple of weeks. Let me catch you up on what he's doing:
- He now says "Bye Dad" to Jon in the morning as he leaves for work.
- He sings various parts of the alphabet, although he doesn't enunciate the letters very well.
- He can find the letter "E" on his V-Tech alphabet board.
- He says "juice" and "please" and "juice pleeease!"
- He gets sad when our visitors leave.
- He will eat vegetables only if they are sprinkled with Parmesan cheese (that's "shaky" cheese to some of us...) :)
- When he's sitting on the sofa, he'll pat the seat next to him when he wants you to sit down next to him.
- He loves to give Moose treats and play fetch with him too.
Here are some pictures to show you what a difference a few days can make! :) (This is the beautiful sunshine we get on our back porch every morning!)
(The pictures of the Lilies are for my very special Lily--you are more beautiful than these! We love you and we miss you!!)
