A Drummer Boy's Dream

Evan's dream came true last Sunday when we stayed at church to pack up Daddy's office--Dave, our church's drummer, came in for a practice and decided to let Evan have a go at the drums while they were ON! :) He was so intent on playing them that we could hardly get a smile out of him, but it was so much fun to see him play and interact with Dave. He had so much fun actually getting to hear himself play--they're electric drums, and the only time he's gotten to touch them has been when they were off. And lately, all he can think about at church is the drums, so we've been avoiding them altogether...so it was a real treat for it to be "ok" for him to play! We really feel like God has given him a gift, and we can't wait to see where God is leading him! :) (To see more pictures, visit the album here.)
